Florentina Leitner SS27

This season, Florentina Leitner offered to dress me for her SS27 presentation at Paris Fashion Week, and honestly? It made me feel like I had finally arrived. Not only did I absolutely rock the cutest “You Are a Star” tee, a beaded tiara, and striped knee high socks, but I also felt like I had been welcomed into the inner world of Florentina Leitner. And what a delicious little universe it is. Imagine sugar coated strawberries served alongside candied apples and pretzels; playful, whimsical, and just the right amount of sweet. The SS27 presentation was beyond delightful. Forget the traditional runway format; the entire collection was hung on clotheslines throughout the space, creating a wonderfully unexpected setting that felt more like stepping into a fashion fuelled daydream. Models dressed and undressed directly from the lines throughout the showcase, bringing the clothes to life in a way that felt spontaneous, intimate, and utterly charming.

The whole experience was engaging, interactive, and quite enchanting. There was something so refreshing about seeing fashion presented with this much imagination and a genuine sense of play. Nothing felt too serious, too polished, or too far removed from the joy of getting dressed. Instead, Leitner invited us into her world; one where clothes are characters, accessories are little treasures, and dressing up is an occasion in itself.

And perhaps that was my favourite part. Wearing my “You Are a Star” tee, tiara, and striped socks, I wasn’t simply observing the Florentina Leitner universe from the outside. I felt like I was part of it. Consider me a fully fledged member of the club. Paris Fashion Week, but make it sugar coated.
