SRVC SS27
There’s something particularly appealing about fashion that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and SRVC’s SS27 presentation at London Fashion Week was a lovely reminder of just that.
For its tenth season, the London based label, founded by Masha Adonyeva, brought a fresh perspective to everyday dressing, turning the familiar into something altogether more interesting. Set against a farmer's market inspired backdrop, the presentation offered a playful contrast between the everyday and the unexpected.
Tailoring was a key focus, with relaxed pinstripes bringing a sense of effortless polish, while contemporary knitwear, clever cut-outs and unexpected layering gave classic wardrobe staples a decidedly modern attitude. Think oversized proportions, considered details and a little bit of undone cool. Even the simplest combinations felt intentional, from sharp suiting paired with loafers to feminine knitwear styled over crisp shirting.
What I particularly love about SRVC is its ability to balance wearability with a strong design identity. These are clothes that feel made for real life, but with enough personality to make getting dressed feel exciting again. There’s a confidence in the simplicity, and a refreshing understanding that great style doesn't always need to shout.
As we look ahead to SS27, SRVC makes a compelling case for a wardrobe that is versatile, individual and just a little unexpected. And honestly, isn't that exactly what getting dressed should be about?
