Boyarovskaya SS27

There are designers you admire, and then there are designers you find yourself thinking about long after the presentation has ended. Two seasons later, Boyarovskaya continues to be the latter.

Maria Boyarovskaya’s SS27 collection offered a thoughtful exploration of femininity, confidence, and the art of revealing just enough. Clean lines, sculptural trench coats, and carefully placed cut-outs played against a restrained palette of black, white, and softened earthy tones. There was a sense of control in the construction, balanced by an ease that allowed the clothes to feel alive rather than overly composed.

What I find compelling about Boyarovskaya is the clarity of the vision. In a fashion landscape that can often feel saturated with noise, there is something refreshing about a designer who allows silhouette, proportion, and the relationship between clothing and the body to speak for themselves.

Mark my words, Boyarovskaya is going to be the next big designer to show in Paris. This season left me feeling the same as last season. I want to see more of this designer and I know the fashion world would too.

At The Fashion Edit, we believe in looking beyond the immediate moment and paying attention to the creative voices shaping what comes next. Boyarovskaya is a name I will continue to follow, and one I hope to see given even more room to grow on the Paris fashion calendar. Watch this space. I have a feeling this is only the beginning.
